Time Warner hires TechAmerica’s Chris Wilson
{mosads}Before he joined TechAmerica, Wilson was an associate at the lobbying firm Wiley Rein, where he worked on telecommunications and technology issues. He began his career as an aide for the late Sen. Arlen Spector (Pa.).
“Chris’s experience working with policymakers and his relationships in the high-tech community, along with a deep understanding of our industry, will be significant assets to Time Warner and our public policy team,” Steve Vest, Time Warner’s senior vice president of global public policy, wrote in an internal email.
The company lobbied on copyright protection, online privacy, cybersecurity, taxes and other issues, according to its most recent disclosure form.
