Drones to be used in Super Bowl halftime show: report
Hundreds of drones will be featured during Lady Gaga’s halftime performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday, according to a CNN Money report.
A source familiar with the production of the show told the network that using drones during the performance required a special clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The FAA has placed a “no fly zone” around Houston’s NRG Stadium for Sunday, which also included a ban on drones in or around the stadium.
The FAA clearance would mean that Gaga’s Super Bowl performance will be the first to ever utilize drones during halftime, CNN noted.
