{mosads}In December, Google posted another job opening related to “conservative outreach.” The previous position, which was reportedly not new to the company, was described as “Google’s liaison to conservative, libertarian and free market groups.”
Max Pappas, a former aide to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), filled the position, according to Politico.
“I think at the end of the day, they are going to do these evil things as they’ve done in the immigration area and perhaps some others, but the core focus is going to be to get the growth rate in the country — which is roughly 1 and a half to 2 percent — up another point by simply pushing through increases in federal spending and overcoming the tea party,” Eric Schmidt, who was previously Google’s CEO, said during a weekly meeting at the company’s headquarters in January.
