X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, will soon launch two tiers of premium subscriptions, owner Elon Musk said Friday.
Musk said one version is “lower cost with all features, but no reduction in ads,” and the other is “more expensive, but has no ads,” in a post on X.
Musk’s post did not share details as to timing other than saying they will be launching “soon.”
The post also declined to mention the price for either tier.
The update is the latest change to X, including the rebrand of the platform’s name, under Musk’s control.
The billionaire Tesla and SpaceX CEO bought the social media platform for $44 billion last year.
Since then, he’s made changes to roll back content moderation measures, change the verification process and alter how news content is served online.
