State Department responds to attack on US website
Though DeLauro had called for stronger action, urging Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to speak with Chinese authorities, the company Change.org was pleased with the comments from the State Department.
Change.org CEO Ben Rattray said: “This shows how seriously the State Department is taking the attacks on Change.org.”
He added he still wants Clinton to condemn the attack and to “stand with Ai Weiwei.”
