Bus safety panel set

Among the witnesses will be Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), NTSB Chairwoman Deborah Hersman, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Administrator Anne Ferro and NHTSA Deputy Administrator Ron Medord, Lautenberg’s office said in a statement. Other speakers will include American Bus Association President Peter Pantuso and Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety Consumer Co-Chairwoman Joan Claybrook.
 
Claybrook is a former NHTSA administrator.
 
The hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
