DOT chief taps new chief of staff
Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx has named a new chief of staff, appointing a former aide to ex-White House Chief of Staff and current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) to the post.
Foxx appointed former senior adviser to Emanuel Sarah Feinberg to the position of helping to run the department.
In addition to serving an aide to Emanuel, Feinberg is a former D.C. representative for Facebook and Bloomberg LP.

“Secretary Foxx’s selection of a woman for an executive role illustrates his commitment to an administration led by a gender-diverse team,” President Marcia Ferranto said in a statement. “WTS looks forward to continuing our work to attract, retain, and advance women in transportation with Secretary Foxx’s team.”
