LaHood to speak Thursday at National Press Club

“We have work that needs doing. We have small businesses ready to do that work. And we have construction workers desperate to get back on the job repairing, replacing and modernizing our roads, rails and runways,” LaHood said recently of the president’s proposal on his Department of Transportation blog. “Let’s make it happen. Let’s pass the American Jobs Act.”
Tickets for LaHood’s speech Thursday are $18 for National Press Club members, $29 for guests of NPC members and $36 for general admission.
