Parents of unruly children voted worst airline passengers

Parents of children who are crying or unruly on flights have been voted the worst type of airline passenger, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The survey, conducted by the website Expedia.com, found that crying children and their parents were considered the worst passengers to be on a flight with by 41 percent of fliers.

Forty-nine percent of the poll’s respondents said they would be willing to pay extra to sit in a “quiet zone” on airplanes that would be similar to Amtrak’s popular quiet cars, according to the report.

The survey found that airline passengers voted fully reclining the seat in front of them as the seventh most offensive passenger behavior, although 80 percent of the respondents said they had fully reclined their seats before.
