Rep. O’Rourke live-tweets bus ride with constituents

Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) is live-tweeting a public transportation ride with his constituents on Friday morning.

O’Rourke said he was answering questions in person and on Twitter while he was riding an El Paso Sun Metro bus. 

{mosads}“This morning I’ll be riding Sun Metro bus #42 at 8:26 a.m. starting from the Downtown Transfer Center, I hope to see you there,” O’Rourke tweeted, using the hashtag #BusingWithBeto.

O’Rourke was first elected in 2012. He tweeted that he received “a great first question about drug reform” during his mobile town-hall meeting.

He later tweeted pictures of the bus picking up more passengers and making a stop at the El Paso Northeast Terminal.
