Airlines have delayed 3,110 flights and canceled 688 others due to a late winter snow storm that snarled Washington, D.C., and other East Coast cities on Monday.

The website FlightAware.com is reporting that the leading airport for flight trouble Monday morning is D.C.’s Reagan Washington National Airport, which had 148 outgoing flights and another 121 incoming planes canceled.

{mosads}The second-highest airport for flight cancellations Monday is Philadelphia International Airport, which had 53 incoming and 53 outgoing flight stopped, according to the website.

The Monday flight changes were the latest in a series of weather-related cancellation sprees that observers have said have cost airlines millions of dollars this winter.
