East coast flight service returning to normal
Flight service at airports along the east coast returned to normal Tuesday after airlines cancelled 1,110 flights and delayed 11,962 others after a late winter snow storm on Monday.
Tuesday morning saw only 447 flights delayed and 69 cancelled within the U.S., according to the website FlightAware.com.
{mosads}There were no U.S. airports in the website’s top ten rankings for delays or cancellations Tuesday.
Washington, D.C.’s Ronald Reagan National Airport led the way on Monday with 163 outgoing and 132 incoming flights cancelled.
