Southwest Airlines flight returns to airport after passenger fight
A Southwest Airlines flight returned to Los Angeles International Airport shortly after a fight between two passengers, The Associated Press reports.
The flight was disrupted shortly after the plane took off by a “rapidly escalating” physical altercation between two passengers who were not traveling together, according to the report.
The AP said the plane was greeted upon its return to the Los Angeles airport by FBI agents, who detained one of the passengers involved in the incident.
The rest of the passengers on board the flight were placed on another plane and resumed their trip, according to the report.
