Senate bill requires TSA to boost expedited airport screening

{mosads}The measure also requires the TSA to better train its workers to help passengers who need extra assistance.

The DHS appropriations bill includes $7.34 billion for the TSA in the 2014 fiscal year. The sum is a $210 million reduction from the TSA’s 2013 budget.

The measure provides funding for the TSA to have approximately 47,000 employees.
