House Transportation Committee cancels driverless car hearing

{mosads}Shuster proclaimed the automated vehicle technology was “the future of transportation” after completing a 30-minute ride in a driverless car. He said it was incumbent upon lawmakers to begin figure out the automatic cars would integrate with the existing U.S. transportation system.

With the shut down of the federal government reaching a week on Tuesday, the transportation committee said that the meeting “has been postponed until further notice.”
