Boeing increasing ‘Dreamliner’ production
Boeing said on Wednesday that it was increasing production of its 787 “Dreamliner,” the commercial jet that was grounded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) this year.
The 787 faced a myriad of problems during its initial roll out, culminating in an FAA decision to ground the plane for three months in the spring.
{mosads}Boeing said Wednesday that it would increase the Dreamliner’s production rate from 10 to 12 planes per month by 2016, and again to 14 per month by 2020.
