Montana woman accused of mailing loaded gun to Jon Tester
A Montana woman who was committed to a mental health institution has been accused of mailing a loaded gun to Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.), according to reports.
{mosads}Cathleen Roselyn Cantlon, 56, is charged with mailing numerous weapons to Tester, including a .22-caliber handgun, ammunition, a knife and pepper spray.
Cantlon appeared in court on July 1. Prosecutors believe she mailed the gun because it was previously taken away and then given back to her.
The gun and other weapons were seized by U.S. Capitol Police on May 18 at a Senate mailing facility in Maryland.
