Thursday’s meeting announcements: Energy and election panels schedule dates

A few federal agencies and advisory panels will hold meetings in the next couple of weeks.

Here’s a look at what’s on the agenda:

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is holding a staff workshop on Wednesday afternoon to explore the mechanics of some public utilities.

On Dec. 17, the Federal Election Commission is holding an open meeting in Washington to discuss the North Dakota Republican Party and legislative recommendations in 2013, among other issues.

The Energy Department’s advisory board for Northern New Mexico is scheduled to meet in the town of Pojoaque on Jan. 8. Also that day, the department’s panel on the Oak Ridge Reservation is meeting in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
