Former bank official heads to consumer finance watchdog
{mosads}Also joining the agency are Elizabeth Ellis, who will serve as deputy assistant director of the financial institutions and business liaison office; Christopher Carroll as assistant director and chief economist for the research office; and Cheryl Parker Rose as assistant director for the office of intergovernmental affairs.
“These new additions to CFPB leadership positions continue to showcase the high caliber of people who are joining our team,” said CFPB Director Richard Cordray in a statement. “Working to make consumer markets safer and more effective is a major task, but this is an attractive mission and today’s announcement shows that we continue to bring in top-flight people who are determined to get the job done.”
The officials come from a variety of governmental, academic and nonprofit organizations.
