News bites: States vie for drone sites

The rush comes as many states – including some of those applying for the test sites – are considering legislation to restrict use of drones in their airspace, according to RegWatch.

President Obama pressed financial regulators to move more quickly to complete a host of regulations required by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform law, The New York Times reports.
