Ginsburg released from hospital

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was reportedly released from the hospital Sunday, just days after she had been admitted for chills and a fever, a spokeswoman for the court said.

“She is home and doing well,” spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said in a statement.

Further details were not available.

Ginsburg was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital on Friday night after she experienced chills and fever during the day, the court said in a statement Saturday.

The court said her symptoms abated after given antibiotics and fluids and was expected to be released Sunday morning.

Ginsburg, a four-time cancer survivor, missed a day of work last week due to a stomach bug, but later returned to the Supreme Court.
