The Justice Department filed a lawsuit Tuesday seeking to block publication of former national security adviser John Bolton’s memoir.
The book, “The Room Where It Happened,” is expected to offer a revealing look at Bolton’s time serving as President Trump’s top national security aide for 17 months. The memoir is set to be published on June 23.
The lawsuit filed in federal court in Washington, D.C., alleges that Bolton’s book contains classified information that could compromise national security if published before a government review is finished.
