Tuesday’s meeting announcements: Trade panel talks bricks

A small handful of federal advisory panels and boards will announce new meetings on Tuesday.

Here’s a peek into the Federal Register:

The International Trade Commission will talk about imports of silica bricks from China in Washington on Thursday morning.

Next Monday, the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board is meeting in Washington to discuss a number of reports and review its 2014 calendar.

On Dec. 19, the Environmental Protection Agency’s National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology will hold a teleconference to discuss draft recommendations to the agency’s fiscal 2014-2018 strategic plan.

From Jan. 8 to 15, fishing regulators for the Gulf of Mexico will hold webinar workshops on gag and greater amberjack.

A panel on servicemembers’ benefits will meet in Washington on Jan. 9 to discuss a series of drugs and other issues.

The Pentagon’s task force on caring for ill and injured members of the armed forces is meeting in Arlington, Va., on Jan. 27 and 28.
