The Consumer Product Safety Commission is meeting on July 9 and 10 to discuss cradles and its agenda for the next two years.

On July 12, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is holding a business meeting in Washington.

The U.S. Commission on Fine Arts is meeting on July 18.

The National Park Service commission for the Washington region is meeting on July 23.

Also on July 23, the Pentagon’s commission on the structure of the Air Force is holding a meeting.

A committee on the socio-economic impact of fishing prohibitions in the Caribbean is meeting on July 24.

A federal committee on mine safety and health research is meeting in Pittsburgh on July 24 and 25.

A working group on merchant marine personnel is meeting on July 25 at the Coast Guard’s headquarters in Washington. 

A committee on preventing childhood lead poisoning is holding a teleconference the afternoon of July 25.

Also on July 25, the Government Accountability Office is holding a teleconference to prepare for revising its standards for the federal government’s internal controls, known as the Green Book.

On July 30, a council for Pacific halibut fishing will hold a meeting in Portland, Ore.

Scientific counselors for a public health preparedness office will hold a Web conference on Aug. 5 to hear a presentation on the cost of preparedness.

A federal board for cost standards is holding public meetings on July 31 and Aug. 14 in Arlington, Va., to help determine whether new rules are needed for adjusting pensions for extraordinary events.
