Thursday’s meeting announcements: Review of train regs coming
{mosads}The Environmental Protection Agency’s advisory board for the Great Lakes will meet on July 23 in Chicago to discuss advice on how to restore the lakes. The meeting’s short notice is coming as result of “budgetary uncertainties,” according to the agency.
Also on July 23, the Department of Veterans Affairs’ committee for a facility that stores, collects and processes human tissue samples is meeting to review funding for the so-called “brain bank.”
The National Science Board’s executive committee is holding a teleconference on July 24 to discuss the agenda for an August meeting.
On the morning of July 30, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights’ panel on Illinois will hold a conference call to discuss and vote on two project proposals.
A federal committee on muscular dystrophy is meeting on Aug. 26 in Rockville, Md., and will also be webcast.
On Sept. 25, the Food and Drug Administration’s pharmaceutical science advisory panel is meeting in Bethesda, Md.
