An Interior Department council on wildfire is meeting in Washington Aug. 19 and Sept. 10. 

The Bureau of Land Management council for Western Montana is meeting in the town of Butte Aug. 21. 

The Colorado panel of the Commission on Civil Rights is holding a planning meeting in Colorado Springs, Colo., Aug. 22. 

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is holding a public briefing on construction activities Aug. 27. 

A task force on developing veteran-run small businesses is meeting at the Small Business Administration headquarters in Washington Aug. 28. 

A new Housing and Urban Development committee on a Native American block grant program will meet Aug. 27 and 28 in Denver. 

An advisory committee on rural health and human services is meeting in Bozeman, Mont., Sept. 4-6. 

On Sept. 10 and 11, a federal panel on nanoscience and technology is holding a workshop in Washington on the management and assessment of potential risks.

Agencies within the Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting Sept. 12 to hear from national associations about technologies that allow vehicles to communicate with each other. 

On Sept. 20, the Federal Trade Commission is holding a roundtable at its headquarters in Washington to discuss a proposal on clothing care labels. 

The Education Department’s committee on foreign medical education and accreditation is meeting at the department’s headquarters in Washington Oct. 30.
