Friday’s meeting announcements: Parole commission holds session

{mosads}The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights’ committee for New York is holding a meeting on Aug. 15 in New York City. 

The Pentagon’s committee for the Air Force’s structure will meet in Midwest City, Okla., on Aug. 20. 

Also on August 20, the Army Corps of Engineers task force for the Missouri River will meet in Bismarck, N.D., to discuss strategies to conserve and protect the river.

The Navy’s advisory panel on ocean research will meet on Aug. 21 and 22 in Arlington, Va. 

The council for fishing management in the Western Pacific will hold a meeting on Aug. 22 in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. 

The Ohio advisory panel of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is holding a conference call on Aug. 27 to discuss a report on barriers to entrepreneurship in the state. 

Also on August 27, the Commerce Department’s advisory committee for trade of environmental technologies is meeting at the department’s Washington headquarters. 

On Sept. 10, a federal advisory panel on pulmonary allergy drugs will hold a meeting in Silver Spring, Md. 

On Sept. 18, the Federal Aviation Administration committee for research, engineering and development is meeting at the agency’s headquarters in Washington. 

The Food and Drug Administration panel on medical devices for the eye is meeting in Gaithersburg, Md., on Sept. 19.
