Thursday’s meeting announcements: New England fishing council

On Aug. 29, an advisory committee for primary care medicine and dentistry training is holding a webinar. 

Also Aug. 29, a panel for bluefish in the mid-Atlantic is meeting to work on a performance report for the fish. 

A Health and Human Services advisory committee on organ transplants is holding a conference call Sept. 4 to hear presentations from a series of working groups. 

On Sept. 9 and 10, the Food and Drug Administration is hosting a meeting for a panel on pediatric ethics in Silver Spring, Md. 

The Fish and Wildlife Service’s council for wildlife and hunting is meeting in Washington on September 17 and 18 to discuss the farm bill and conservation efforts. 

On Sept. 18 and 19, the New England Fishery Management Council is holding meetings of its advisory panel on herring in Newburyport, Mass. 

On Sept. 19 and 20, a board of scientific counselors with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are meeting in Hyattsville, Md., to discuss the National Center for Health Statistics.
