The Food and Drug Administration is holding a meeting of its advisory panel on medical devices for the circulatory system on Sept. 11 and 12 in Gaithersburg, Md. 

A NASA committee on the science and physics of the sun is meeting on Sept. 17 and 18 in Washington. 

On Sept. 19 and 20, the FDA’s advisory committee for pediatrics is meeting in Silver Spring, Md. 

NASA’s panel on astrophysics is holding a conference call the afternoon of Sept. 20 to discuss data policy regarding an orbiting telescope that looks at X-rays. 

The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board is holding a public meeting Oct. 22 in Knoxville, Tenn., to discuss safety risks of aging facilities.
