Wednesday’s meeting announcements: FERC talks energy

{mosads}The U.S. International Trade Commission is meeting Aug. 19 to review pasta from Italy and Turkey. 

From Aug. 26 to 29, the council for Gulf of Mexico fishing will hold a number of meetings in San Antonio. 

The Forest Service’s committee for two Nevada counties will meet in the town of Yerington Sept. 3, 11 and 25 to discuss projects in the region. 

On Sept. 4 and 5, the Pacific Fishery Management Council is discussing groundfish habitat in Portland, Ore. 

The Coast Guard’s safety advisory committee for towing is meeting in Chicago Sept. 4, 5 and 6. 

Beginning Sept. 9, the humanities panel of the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities will hold 11 meetings in Washington. 

A Department of Agriculture council on Native American farming and ranching is meeting in Washington Sept. 9 and 10. 

The Health and Human Services Department’s institute for workplace health and safety is meeting in Pittsburgh on Sept. 17 to discuss personal protective equipment. 

The presidential advisory council on HIV/AIDS is meeting in Washington Sept. 18 and 19 to talk about the Ryan White Program, which helps patients who do not have sufficient health insurance or financial resources to deal with the disease. 

On Oct. 15 and 16, the Environmental Protection Agency’s advisory committee for the Clean Air Act is meeting in Arlington, Va. 

The Food and Drug Administration is holding a two-day workshop Oct. 21 and 22 on gastroenterology therapy. The workshop will be held in Bethesda, Md.
