Tuesday’s meeting announcements: Board to consider first responders’ network

{mosads}A federal commission for the Delaware River Basin is holding a public hearing on Sept. 11 and a business meeting on Sept. 12 in Mount Laurel, N.J. 

Committees on pesticide control and management will meet on Sept. 16 and 17 to discuss labels meant to protect bees, among other items. 

From Sept. 17 to 20, the federal council for North Pacific fishing and its observer committee will meet in Seattle. 

The Environmental Protection Agency is hosting an interagency committee on radiation standards in Washington on Sept. 18. 

Also on the afternoon of Sept. 18, the Treasury Department’s committee on insurance is meeting in Washington. 

The regulatory council for commercial fishing in New England is meeting on Sept. 18 and 20 to discuss scallops and skate

The Overseas Private Investment Corporation’s board of directors will meet on Sept. 19 to toast administration officials and confirm a vice president for structured finance. 

A Transportation Department panel for rail energy is also meeting on Sept. 19, and a Coast Guard advisory committee is meeting in Washington to suggest improvements to the Great Lakes piloting rules. 

Additionally, the President’s Export Council is meeting on Sept. 19 to debate recommendations to expand American exports. 

The U.S. Commission of Fine Arts is also meeting on Sept. 19. 

A National Institutes of Health advisory board of sleep disorders research is meeting in Bethesda, Md., on Sept. 23. 

The Bureau of Land Management advisory council for the Dakotas is meeting in Bowman, N.D., on Sept. 25. 

On Sept. 27, the board of directors of the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. will meet in Washington to review a proposed extension of members on its advisory committee for Sub-Saharan Africa. 

The Energy Department is holding a public meeting to discuss possible new energy efficiency standards for commercial boilers. The meeting will be held in Washington on Oct. 1.

On Oct. 3, the federal advisory committee for Lake Clark National Park in Alaska is meeting in the town on Nondalton. 

The Department of Defense’s council on military family readiness is meeting in the Pentagon on Oct. 19 to discuss recommendations for fiscal 2013.
