Friday’s meeting announcements: Forest Service panel to hold session

{mosads}On Sept. 24, a Forest Service advisory committee will meet in Hamilton, Mont., to discuss ways to improve collaboration between the agency and local officials. 

The Commerce Department’s committee on advanced technology is meeting on Oct. 8. 

From Oct. 8 to 10, fishing regulators for the Gulf of Mexico will hold meetings in Tampa, Fla. 

Various committees on the council for fishing management in the Western Pacific will also meet from Oct. 8 to 10, in Honolulu, Hawaii. 

An interagency coordinating committee on autism is meeting on Oct. 9 to discuss research and service work. 

The Commerce Department’s board for a communications system for first responders will meet the morning of Oct. 17 in Concord, Calif. 

On Oct. 22, the national advisory board for civilian community service is meeting in Washington. 

The Department of Health and Human Services is holding consultations with Native American tribes on Oct. 23 and 29 to discuss Head Start programs.

On Oct. 31, the Interior Department is holding a conference call to discuss planning and data preservation efforts.
