Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s (R) impeachment trial in the Lone Star State is continuing into its fifth day on Monday morning.
As The Hill’s Saul Elbein writes, the first impeachment trial in the state’s modern history marks a potentially explosive moment for the state’s Republican Party.
Paxton faces 20 counts of corruption.
The trial is set to resume at 10 a.m. EST on Monday.
