Maine police give update on search for mass shooting suspect : Watch live
Maine State Police are slated to give remarks at a news conference Friday morning at Lewiston City Hall regarding the search for suspected mass shooter Robert Card.
Late Thursday, authorities executed search warrants on possible hiding locations. Hundreds of law enforcement officers are on the lookout for Card across central Maine after 18 people were killed and 13 more injured in a pair of shootings at a bowling alley and a restaurant late Wednesday, as The Hill reported.
Thursday’s efforts focused on the home of his brother and sister-in-law, which authorities searched after hours of a standoff outside. It is unclear if Card, an Army reservist, was ever at the home.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. EDT.
