House Judiciary Committee convenes hearing on colleges and free speech: Watch live
The House Judiciary Committee is slated to hold a hearing Wednesday morning titled “Free Speech on College Campuses.” The hearing will look at “the rise in antisemitism, anti-Israel sentiment, and violence towards students supporting Israel,” per the committee.
Witnesses set to testify include Jasmyn Jordan, student at University of Iowa; Amanda Silberstein, student at Cornell University; Kenneth Marcus, Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law; and Connor Ogrydziak, recent graduate of University of Buffalo.
The hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. EST.
