The Senate Judiciary Committee is slated to hold a hearing Thursday morning on Supreme Court ethics, where they will discuss and likely vote on subpoenaing Republican megadonor Harlan Crow and conservative activist Leonard Leo, who have been tied to controversial luxury trips involving Supreme Court justices, as The Hill and AP reported.
The hearing comes after the Supreme Court announced a new ethics code on November 13th, which Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said “falls short” of what the standard should be.
The hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. EST.
