Colorado Supreme Court oral arguments in Trump 14th Amendment case: Watch live
The question of former President Trump’s eligibility to appear on the 2024 ballot comes before the Colorado Supreme Court on Wednesday.
The proceedings will be available to view via streaming media at this site.
Both Trump and a citizens’ group that filed the opposition in a lower court appealed an earlier decision that essentially ruled in favor of the former president.
The judgment, issued last week, found that Trump’s actions ahead of the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots constituted insurrection. But the court also stated that a post-Civil War provision against insurrectionists holding office did not apply to the presidency.
Wednesday’s hearing is expected to begin at 3 p.m. EST.
