Former President Trump is expected to deliver remarks at a Commit to Caucus event in Iowa, not long after the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that he was ineligible to run for the White House again.
Trump is likely to address the ruling as he prepares for the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 15, which serve as the unofficial kickoff to primary voting season.
The former president is widely seen as the front-runner in the race for the GOP nomination, but numerous legal cases — as well as efforts in multiple states to bar him from the ballot — have complicated his path.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. EST.
