Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley will make a public statement from Charleston, S.C., Wednesday, where she is expected to suspend her campaign in the Republican presidential race.
Haley is ending her candidacy for the GOP presidential nomination after an overwhelming wave of Super Tuesday victories for former President Trump.
Although polls have suggested similar results were likely for weeks, Haley chose to stay in the competition as long as there was at least a remote chance of narrowing the gap in delegates.
Haley is expected to speak starting at 10 a.m. EST.
