Watch: Boeing Starliner to launch crewed test flight after numerous delays

Recorded earlier, edited for length

Liftoff for the Boeing Starliner is scheduled for late morning Wednesday at NASA’s Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral, Fla.

This mission, the inaugural test flight for Boeing’s first-crewed space craft, was originally scheduled for May 6, but technical concerns have led to several delays for the culmination of a decade-long project.

The Starliner, crewed by flight commander Butch Wilmore and pilot Suni Williams, will head for the International Space Station propelled by an Atlas V rocket. A successful journey will be the first human-piloted flight using the Atlas V since the 1960s, and mark the 100th deployment of the model, including satellite launches.

T-minus zero is set for 10:52 a.m. EDT.
