Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, will hold a rally in Omaha, Neb., today.
Walz, who was born in Nebraska, is returning to his home state to attempt to woo voters in its swing 2nd Congressional District. President Biden and former President Obama secured the district in 2020 and 2008, respectively.
Walz’s Nebraska rally takes place just days before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and just over 10 days after Vice President Harris announced Walz as her running mate.
