The Democratic National Convention continues Wednesday with appearances by more of the party’s biggest names, including former President Clinton, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
The Harris campaign is calling the night “Walz Wednesday,” saying the speech by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) is meant to solidify the public’s initial impressions of the vice presidential candidate. Walz’s nickname of “Coach” captures some of the enthusiasm and fighting spirit fellow Democrats say he brings to the ticket.
Coverage is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. EDT.
