Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz addressed members of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Wednesday at their convention in Boston.
The union reports that it represents some 350,000 firefighters and emergency workers in 85 percent of U.S. and Canadian communities.
Walz, Minnesota’s governor, is coming off the Democratic convention where he impressed his party with a dynamic speech.
Vice President Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, has been riding a wave of strong poll results since the convention. The support of major unions like the IAFF could prove vital, even as Republicans work to rein it in.
