Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday said the U.S. was not involved in lethal strikes in Lebanon using thousands of exploding pagers aimed at Iran-allied terror group Hezbollah. The actions were reportedly orchestrated by Israel, although the Israeli government has not explicitly acknowledged responsibility.

Some 2,800 people were injured by the sabotage, and 12 people were reportedly killed, including two children.

Former President Trump on Monday acknowledged a cordial conversation with President Biden following the apparent foiled assassination attempt against Trump Saturday.
