Watch live: Schumer holds presser targeting GOP’s Project 2025

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is slated to hold a press conference alongside other Democrats Thursday morning focused on the conservative Project 2025 agenda.

Democrats have adopted an aggressive gameplan of trying to link the project, unveiled earlier this year by the Heritage Foundation, to Republicans — and former President Trump — ahead of November. Schumer, and other leaders in the party, have invoked the conservative agenda at every turn — in leadership press conferences, chamber-floor debates, public committee hearings and private hallway conversations — warning that the GOP has already begun pulling pages from the policy platform.

The presser also comes as Congress attempts to avert a government shutdown.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. EDT.
