Watch live: Harris outlines economic agenda at Pittsburgh rally

Vice President Harris is set to hold a rally in Pittsburgh on Wednesday afternoon, two days after former President Trump held one at a nearby university.

During the campaign stop, she is expected to outline plans to promote manufacturing in the U.S., an effort that will build on her other economic proposals, unveiled last month, such as investing in entrepreneurship.

Pennsylvania is seen as one of the most critical battleground states to both candidates’ paths and has the most electoral votes of any swing state. Polling has shown Harris and Trump almost exactly tied in the Keystone State.

Harris’s rally also comes ahead of the airing of her sit-down with MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle, also in Pittsburgh, the second interview she has given to a major network since becoming the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee. The interview will air at 7 p.m. EDT.

Her rally is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m. EDT.
