Former President Trump is giving remarks Thursday from the Economic Club in Detroit.
The former president is likely to address his economic agenda and hit on similar topics that his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), spoke about during his campaign stop in the city earlier this week: electric vehicles, manufacturing and early voting.
His latest visit to battleground Michigan, which has already started early voting, comes as polling shows the former president and his Democratic rival Vice President Harris locked in a tight race in the critical swing state ahead of November.
The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling index shows Trump with a razor-thin lead over Harris in Michigan — 48.6 percent to 48.1 percent.
The event is expected to begin at 1 p.m. EDT.
