Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), the running mate of former President Trump, is campaigning Wednesday afternoon in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania.
The vice presidential hopeful is expected to hit Democratic nominee Vice President Harris on inflation under the Biden administration as well as her proposed policies on fracking, according to the campaign announcement.
The event comes just two days after Trump held a town hall in the Keystone State alongside South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) — where he repeatedly made clear the commonwealth was key to electoral victory in November.
The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of polls shows Vice President Harris ahead of Trump in Pennsylvania by just 0.3 points — 48.6 percent support to 48.4 percent — as Election Day quickly approaches.
Vance is scheduled to give remarks from Williamsport, Pa., at 3 p.m. EDT.
