Vice President Harris is campaigning in the “blue wall” state of Michigan on Friday, seeking to shore up support in a key battleground state.
The event is part of the vice president’s blitz through key swing states — along with Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — that are crucial to securing enough electoral votes to win in November.
The vice president and former President Trump are neck and neck in the Great Lakes State. The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of polls shows Trump with a slim lead over Harris in the key swing state, 48.8 percent to 48.1 percent.
Harris will also visit Lansing, Mich., and the suburbs of Detroit on Friday.
The event in Grand Rapids is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
