Watch: Vance courts voters in swing state Arizona
Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), former President Trump’s running mate, campaigned in the critical swing state of Arizona on Tuesday.
Vance was expected to target Vice President Harris and the Biden administration on the economy, specifically energy costs, and the border, according to the campaign. His visit also comes as Trump and the vice presidential hopeful have been pushing voters to cast their ballots early.
With just two weeks left in the race, the former president has a 1.6-point lead over Harris in the Grand Canyon State — 49 percent to 47.4 percent — according to an aggregate of polls from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ.
The Republican Vice Presidential nominee was expected to give remarks in Tucson, Ariz., at 7:30 p.m. EDT.
